FRP Central Member, Aramid Yarn, PE/AT Outer Sheath
Product Overview
ADSS cable features a loose tube stranded design with 250μm fibers positioned in high modulus plastic tubes filled with water-resistant compound. The tubes are stranded around an FRP central strength member, creating a compact circular cable core. After filling, the core is covered with a thin PE inner sheath, followed by a stranded layer of aramid yarns as strength member, and completed with PE or AT outer sheath.
Application Specifications
ADSS cable design considers overhead power line conditions. For lines under 110kV, PE outer sheath is applied. For power lines equal to or over 110kV, AT outer sheath is applied. The specialized aramid quantity and stranding process accommodate various span requirements.
