Product Description

2-144 Core ADSS Cable – Single Mode G.652D
PE/AT Sheath, Maximum Span 1500m, designed for overhead installation on transmission towers
Product Overview
ADSS cable features a loose tube stranded design with 250μm fibers positioned into high modulus plastic tubes. The tubes are filled with water-resistant compound and stranded around a Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP) central strength member, forming a compact circular cable core.
Construction Details
After the cable core is filled with compound, it is covered with a thin polyethylene (PE) inner sheath. A stranded layer of aramid yarns is applied as strength member, completed with either PE or Anti-Tracking (AT) outer sheath.
Application Specifications
ADSS cable design fully considers overhead power line conditions. PE outer sheath is used for power lines under 110kV, while AT outer sheath is applied for lines equal to or over 110kV. Aramid quantity and stranding process are optimized for various span requirements.
