Product Overview
TAKFLY's SFP+ transceiver TK-1592-3LCD40 is designed for use in 10-Gigabit Ethernet links up to 40km over single mode fiber. The module consists of 1550 EML Laser, InGaAs PIN and Preamplifier in a high-integrated optical sub-assembly. Digital diagnostics functions are available via a 2-wire serial interface, as specified in SFF8472.
The optical output can be disabled by a TTL logic high-level input of Tx Disable, and the system can also disable the module via I2C. Tx Fault indicates laser degradation, while Loss of signal (LOS) output indicates loss of input optical signal or link status with partner. The system can access LOS (or Link)/Disable/Fault information via I2C register access.
