The Isolator Polarization Beam Combiner/Splitter is a compact integrated device that provides both polarization beam combining and optical isolation in a single component. It functions as either a polarization beam combiner to merge light beams from two PM input fibers into a single output fiber, or as a polarization beam splitter to separate light from an input fiber into two output fibers with orthogonal polarization states.
IPBC/PBS devices feature extremely low insertion loss and significantly improve amplifier performance. These components are ideal for high-power fiber laser and high-power fiber amplifier applications in ICT and AI computing systems.
