Product Overview
The Pre-Terminated Outlet Kit (PTO) is engineered for rapid and straightforward installation in Fiber to the Home (FTTH) and Fiber to the Business (FTTB) deployments. This comprehensive kit includes a low-profile fiber optic outlet box pre-loaded with adapters and a pre-terminated cable, conveniently packaged with a cable spool inside a protective carton.
With the PTO system, installing the final drop cable and fiber optic outlet becomes an exceptionally simple and efficient process. Installers can quickly remove the spool-loaded cable from the carton and mount the pre-terminated outlet directly to the wall using screws, without needing to open the outlet and disturb the internal fiber terminations. Alternatively, the PTO can be easily snapped onto a standard DIN rail.
PTO installation eliminates the requirement for specialized tools or technical expertise, removing the need for on-site termination or splicing. This results in significant reductions in installation time, cost, and failure rates per customer deployment.
