The PANDA PM Specialty Optical Fiber design incorporates two stress applying parts to create extremely high birefringence, resulting in fiber with outstanding polarization maintaining properties. This innovative design was invented and patented by Corning Incorporated, with Corning maintaining a manufacturing partnership with Fujikura Ltd.
