Product Description

24F MPO MTP Trunk Cable OM5 0.35dB Low Loss 3.0mm Fiber Optic Micro Cable with Pulling Eyes

Product Description:

MPO/ MTP is an incredibly high-density fiber optic connector. At only double the size of LC, it can contain anywhere from 8 fibers to 72 fibers, drastically saving on space in the data center.

The MPO connection protocol requires that a pair of connectors with the same core numbers must be connected (e.g. 12 cores with 12 cores, 24 cores with 24 cores, etc.), one male connector and one female connector, with the same polishing type (PC to PC, APC to APC). If both connectors are female MPO MTP connectors, then they can't be connected, and neither can PC polishing be connected to APC polishing.

When choosing MPO patch cords, one must first identify the gender and polarity of the MPO MTP patch cord in the data center. For example, if the MPO MTP connector is male, then the corresponding patch cord should be female so that they may be connected.

Features:

Cable Options

With a normal cable diameter of 3.0mm round cable, we also have flat cable, 4.5mm double sheathing cable and armoured cable.

Connector Options

MPO/MTP patch cords come in A type, B type, and C type (fiber arrangement). Both Male and Female connectors are available. The Female connector does not contain PINs while the Male connector does.

Fiber Type Options

The fiber type comes in a single-mode that includes G652D, G657A1, and G657A2 and multi mode that is composed of OM3, OM4, and OM5.

Insertion Loss Type Options

The Insertion Loss type exists in Standard and Elite/Low Loss.

Fiber Count Options

MPO/MTP connectors come in different fiber count such as 4/8/12/16/24/32/48.

Applications:

Asynchronous Transmission Mode (ATM)
ATM is an important technology used to send and receive data over the internet. It is an efficient method of ensuring that data is transferred reliably and quickly. It is also used by carriers for low-cost broadband access and advanced multimedia services. ATM is also used for switching and multiplexing of voice, video and data signals.

Gigabit Ethernet
Gigabit Ethernet is a high speed networking standard used for data transmission over Ethernet networks. It provides a data rate of up to 1 Gb/s and is suitable for transmission of large amounts of data such as video and audio. Gigabit Ethernet is also used for high-end workstations and servers requiring fast data transmission rates.

Active Device/Transceiver Interface
Active Device or Transceiver Interface is a technology used for high-speed data transmission over short distances. It is used for interconnection of active devices, such as Turinnet or RapidIO, and transceivers. It is also used in CATV, Video and Multimedia applications and Premise Installations.

CATV, Video and Multimedia
CATV stands for Cable Television and is a technology used for transmitting audio and video signals through radio waves. It is used in Television, Radio, Satellite, and Internet services. Video and Multimedia are used for delivering content over the internet. It includes videos, animations, and interactive digital audio and video content.

Premise Installations
Premise Installations is a method of installing and connecting infrastructure networks, such as cables, telephone lines, and computer networks. It involves the installation of cables and wiring into the walls and floors of a building in order to provide a communications network.

Telecommunication Networks
Telecommunications Networks are used for transmitting data, voice, and video information across a wide area network. They are used for data transmission over the public switched telephone network, mobile cellular networks, the internet, and satellite networks.

Parallel Optical Interconnect between PC Cards and Patch Panels
Parallel Optical Interconnect is a technology used for making connections between personal computers (PCs) cards, and patch panels. It is a method of connecting patch panels with the help of fiber optical cables. This type of connection helps to achieve greater data transfer rates over long distances.

Interconnection for O/E Modules
Interconnection for O/E Modules is a technology used for connecting optically amplified modules, such as optical amplifiers, modulators, and lasers, to photonic networks. It allows for the interconnection of different modules in the network to connect signals between them.

Industrial and Military
Industrial and military applications use various types of optical interconnects to facilitate communication among their different components. This includes optical switches, local area networks, and optical interconnects for external modules. This type of communication ensures that data is transmitted securely and without interruption.

Optical Switch Interframe Connections
Optical Switch Interframe Connections are used for connecting optically amplified modules in the optical network. This type of connection uses a special type of optical switch to connect two pieces of equipment through an optical path. This helps to provide secure and reliable communication between the two devices.
