12F MPO/MTP-LC Patchcord Description
With the continuous development of data centers, the tradtional LC cabling system has unable to meet the requirements of high transmission rate and high density in large data centers, so the MPO/MTP jumper comes into being.
MPO/MTP cabling can be used for 40G-40G, 100G-100G, 200G-200G, 400G-400G direct connection, which can also be used for upgrade and uplink connection. Upgrading from 10G to 40G/100G/120G with MPO/MTP cabling system is already common, and is a cost-effective and reliable alternative to upgrading 10G networks to higher speed Ethernet.
At the same time, uplink connection between devices of different rates can also be achieved through MTP cabling system, such as 25G-100G, 50G-200G/400G, 200G-400G.
