It extends data transmission distance from 100 meters over copper to up to 120 kilometers over fiber, delivering reliable long-range connectivity for demanding industrial and enterprise environments.
The DF-MC-1000M Serial Fiber Media Converter translates the signal from a twisted-pair 10/100/1000MBase-TX cable to a 1000Base-FX fiber optic cable. It extends data transmission distance from 100m via copper cables to 120km by fiber optic cable, making it an ideal solution for long-distance network extension and fiber-to-copper integration.
